Marquette and Logistics

Marquette, Michigan is located on Lake Superior in the upper peninsula of the state. The town is known for its rich history of iron ore mining and stunning wildlife. After a day of fishing, it’s great to watch the sunset from the Black Rocks, check out one of the microbreweries for a beer or enjoy a great dinner right on the lake at one of the many fantastic restaurants the town has to offer.

The drive to Marquette may be long for some, but is also very scenic through the north woods of Wisconsin or across the Mackinac bridge in the lower peninsula. For those that are too far for driving, Sawyer International Airport is a great option for travel, being a short 20 minute drive from downtown Marquette.

For those in need of lodging, there are a number of options in town, and some just a short walk from the pier. Please contact us for recommendations.
